[since were trainers, you have the ability to Call to snap out of Confusion or Shadow state.]
I use my Call command. Wynaut snaps out of it.
"Wynaut, use Charm!"
Pichu's Attack is greatly lowered.

"Now use Thunder Wave!"
Pichu uses Thunder Wave to paralyze Wynaut.

"Wynaut, Destiny Bond!"
Wynaut perks its hands/ears up and focuses its energy. It pauses the two in motion. They both faint simultaneously.
"Hah. I had that planned the whole time. Well, we can't do much with fainted Pokémon. Let's go to the Pokémon Center in Fightingale."

I start to walk but realize my Wynaut isn't following me. I turn around to see that he is glowing a bright white color. I wait a second and stare in awe. The glowing finally stops, and my new Pokémon emerges. Wobbuffet. I recall it into its Pokéball.
"Well, that was interesting. Let's go!"
I start walking along the path of Route 1A.
[moved to fightingale.]

"Ok, right behind you."
Of course, my Pichu is always ten feet ahead of us. He is always so excited whenever he is able to go on any kind of adventure, and he likes the sense that he is leading us.
"Haha slow down, you don't even know the way!"

We emerge in Fightingale. People look over, then look away really quick.
"The Pokémon Center is right over there. Let's go."
We walk into the Pokémon Center and heal up.
"So, do you want to train more, or do you think you can handle him?"

"Well how tough of a guy are we talking about here? And maybe we should get another Pokemon or two before we face him. What do you think?"
